Today I found out I was one of four winners of the Beans Around The World Illustration contest sponsored by They Draw and Cook and The US Dry Beans Council. There were so many beautiful Illustrations submitted I’m deeply honored and very excited!
Here’s what they said about my Illustration: Happy New Year Black Eyed Peas by Erika Lynne Jones- “We really love how this Illustration celebrates family, traditions and beans! The large gathering around the table full of food and the text blurbs make us feel like we are part of the family. The recipe looks like it was torn right from the family cookbook that’s been passed down from one generation to the next.”
